Applied Digital Skills - Free Course to Use Today!

Session 8: 1:20 PM-2:20 PM, Computer Lab 213

Abstract

Employers are looking for people with digital skills and many adult learners have had little or no exposure to technology. Google has developed numerous digital skills video lessons with step-by-step instructions using videos, templates and Google apps. This presentation will not only give a general introduction to digital literacy but also show participants how to Sign In, navigate the courses, create accounts, attach students, and ways to master the curriculum so that it can be used by teachers in class tomorrow. Participants are encouraged to bring their own devices but MUST have Google accounts in order to follow along.
