Choice Boards - Giving Students a Voice

Session 1: 2:45–4:15 PM, Zoom Room 4

Abstract

Choice boards are charts of different options for a participant to demonstrate the skills taught. By asking the students to all work in the same mode interferes with other abilities such as drawing, writing, video making, construction building, test taking and so much more. This presentation will demonstrate how choice boards are used and how participants can think about how it would best work for their students and/or staff.
