The Future of Digital Education: CK-12 Digital FlexBooks 2.0®

Description
Participants will be introduced to CK-12, a free non-profit organization dedicated to offering true educational equity worldwide through standards-aligned resources especially in STEM subjects. This year they partnered with OTAN and are addressing the needs of adult learners. Presenters will begin the session with a shared accessible slide presentation and a live demonstration. Questions and answers will be encouraged throughout the session through Chat.

Debbie Jensen
OTAN
Debbie Jensen has worked for OTAN (Outreach and Technical Assistance Network) for over ten years creating online courses, articles, presentations, and workshops. She got introduced to CK-12 four years ago and became a Certified Instructor. She used CK12 courses in her ABE classroom at Baldwin Park Adult and Community Education and presented it to teachers at her school.
