Canvas and Edmentum/Plato Integrations for High School Diploma

Session 3: 8:30-10:00 AM (Thursday March 03, 2022)

 

Description

First we would show how adult students use our LMS, CANVAS, and how they access the online digital tools for subjects they need to complete using the Edmetum Digital library and software through the LTI SSO. (Single Use SIgn on.) Then we would demonstrate how we embed our COAAP training using the Workforce readiness Lessons that all students need to progress after they complete their diploma work with us. The COAAP (Civic Objective Additional Assessment Plan) will demonstrate and provide lessons is for #49: "Accessing necessary information and using it to successfully transition to post-secondary education, training or work" e.g. access information from a college website, utilize a student management system, meet with a college counselor and develop an educational plan forward, etc.
