HyFlex Model: Simultaneous Instruction
Session 5: 1:00-2:30 PM (Thursday March 03, 2022)
Description
What worked during remote instruction? How can I engage my students no matter where or how they study? These are the questions most of us are asking. This session is designed to help teachers think outside of the box once again. Teaching adults in the classroom has always had its challenges, even prior to the pandemic, but we made it work. Suddenly, we were required to teach online only and many of us survived that after a lot of trial and error. Now, we’re being tasked with welcoming students back into the classroom and at the same time, continuing to instruct students online. What could a classroom look like? What technology could be used to meet the needs of all students? How does classroom management work? Using visuals, best practices, and failures, this presentation will demonstrate what teachers can do to maximize the tools they have to work with.
