Successful Ideas for Creating Hybrid-Flexible (HyFlex) Instruction
Session 4: 10:15-11:45 AM (Thursday March 03, 2022)
Description
Join our panel of agencies as they share their "avenues to success" to implement HyFlex instruction. Learn from their experiences and help your agency grow into the next wave of student-centered instructional techniques. Panelists include: Alisa Takeuchi (Garden Grove AE), Laura Dutch (Vallejo Regional Ed Ctr), Steve Hobbs (Merced Adult). Discussion topics will include: --> What are the unique challenges teachers face as they implement a "HyFlex" learning model? --> What additional audio-visual equipment do they need to connect with their remote students? --> What are the approximate costs to their agency and timeline for learning these tools? --> How can remote students collaborate with their classmates and adapt to yet another learning environment? --> How are WIOA and CAEP record-keeping requirements like attendance and assessments affected? Bring your questions!
