The Basics of Video Recording with Screencastify

Session 3: 8:30-10:00 AM (Thursday March 03, 2022)

Description

Research says that employees are 75% more likely to watch a video than read documents, emails, or web articles (Forrester Research). Learn to engage your audience by using this free resource, Screencastify, to record videos of your browser tab, your desktop, and yourself. This is a great tool for instructing students, for professional development activities, or to send a quick message to someone about any subject. Learn how to use annotation tools while recording your video. You will need to have a Google account and use Google Chrome in order to use Screencastify. It’s a great tool for blended learning, HyFlex, distance learning, professional development, or to quickly communicate with someone (i.e. send a video to your IT Tech about the problem you are encountering). Come and join in on the fun!
