Session 5: 9:15am-10:15am (Saturday March 08, 2025)
Description
Participants will learn the basics of a variety of AI tools - Large Language Models (LLMs) such as Pace AI, ChatGPT, Copilot, etc. LLMs use machine learning to understand and generate human language and are trained on large amounts of data. They can perform a variety of tasks including summarizing and translating content. Activities will concentrate on how such tools can be used to create original ESL lesson materials as well as how to adapt and enhance existing lesson plans to meet the needs of learners at any level.
