Incarcerated persons returning to their communities face many obstacles. While incarcerated, many take advantage of adult education programs. This session will cover how adult schools in CDCR are set up, what technology is used, what academic/ technical skills re-entry students will come with and what extra supports they may need to be successful in programs outside of CDCR. In addition, we will demonstrate the ARCAID program and how it can be used to link re-entry to adult education programs.
