Empowering Adult Learners with the Triple E Framework Learn, Engage, Extend

Session 6: 10:30am-12:00pm (Saturday March 07, 2026)

Description

In this session participants will explore the Triple E Framework–Engagement, Enhancement and Extension–as applied to evaluating technology activities in the classroom. Instead of using technology to entertain or occupy time, activities will focus on supporting learner goals. Participants will evaluate sample activities and apply the Triple E rubric. Finally participants will walk-through a lesson plan and apply the framework, discussing how it enhances learner goals. A self-paced Canvas course has been created and participants will learn how they can sign up for the course. Upon completion they can earn Continuing Education Units.
