Description
Step into a hands-on tech playground featuring Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR) headsets, ClassVR, and zSpace’s interactive 3D tools. Designed for educators across ESL, Academic, and CTE programs, this session demonstrates how emerging technologies can be used to enhance learning in practical ways. Participants will explore tools that support language development, strengthen academic skills, and provide hands-on career training. Attendees will interact with engaging, classroom-ready resources that encourage exploration and support a wide range of learner needs.

Farzana Cassim is an Instructional Technology Teacher Advisor at Evans Community Adult School (LAUSD) with 31 years of experience in adult education. Her background includes serving as an ESL student, teaching assistant, instructor, and technology advisor, giving her a deep understanding of adult learning environments. As an OTAN SME, she has delivered technology-focused sessions at regional, state, national, and international conferences and leads initiatives like the Evans Innovation Library.
