Power Up Your Teaching with OTAN’s Free Canvas Courses

Session 7: 1:00pm-2:00pm (Saturday March 07, 2026)

Description

Take a guided tour of OTAN’s free Canvas courses designed for ESL, ABE, High School, and CTE programs. We’ll demonstrate how to find, copy, and adapt courses from Canvas Commons for your classroom, whether you teach online, hybrid, or in-person. You’ll have a chance to browse current OTAN Canvas resources, choose one to try, and discover tips for personalizing it for your learners. We’ll also introduce the OTAN Canvas Project, which provides free Canvas accounts for California Adult Education agencies. (Note: To access OTAN Canvas Commons courses, you’ll need a school-based Canvas account.)
