Session 2: 1:00pm-2:00pm (Friday March 06, 2026)

Description

Want a website that students love and that drives results? Even if your school is relegated to a "cookie-cutter" template or a prescribed website provider, this session reveals the seven essential elements of effective educational media design: intuitive navigation, student-centered UX, mobile responsiveness, accessibility (Section 508/UDL), second language support, user-friendly content, and adherence to accessibility standards. Using wvoc.net as a live case study, we’ll explore how these design choices create inclusive, engaging experiences that increase enrollment, improve student satisfaction, and support instructional success. Participants will leave with actionable strategies to transform their own digital spaces into learning hubs that are both accessible and impactful.
