Session 2: 1:00pm-2:00pm (Friday March 06, 2026)
Description
Adult online education is currently impacted by three primary obstacles: recruitment hurdles, remote testing complexities, and low retention rates. Overcoming these challenges requires institutions to prioritize innovation and cross-functional collaboration. We will be discussing our experience with managing an online program 100% remotely and addressing the challenges of the following: Recruitment: Difficulty reaching and enrolling the target demographic. Remote Testing: Technical and integrity-based complexities in assessment. Retention: High attrition due to balancing professional and academic life
