Session 4: 4:00pm-5:00pm (Friday March 06, 2026)
Description
This hands-on session introduces Padlet as an all-in-one EdTech tool that can streamline activities creation, support varied learning modalities, and boost learner participation. After a brief overview of Padlet’s core functions, the presenter spotlights newer and advanced features that many educators have not yet explored, such as the following: • Padlet Templates • AI Assist Tools • Timeline, Map, and Canvas boards • Enhanced Multimedia Recording • Reactions and Grading Tools Attendees will use a shared Padlet space to try out these features in real time on their own devices. Throughout the session, strategies will be connected to adult learning theory and Universal Design for Learning (UDL). By the end of the session, attendees will not only understand why Padlet is a Swiss Army knife of EdTech, but will also have hands-on experience and ready-made ideas they can implement immediately in their adult education classrooms.
