Session 4: 4:00pm-5:00pm (Friday March 06, 2026)

Session 4: 4:00pm-5:00pm (Friday March 06, 2026)

Description

Adult learners are busy, mobile, and often overwhelmed—and traditional instructional models don’t always meet their needs. Microlearning offers short, targeted bursts of content that improve retention, boost confidence, and fit learners’ daily realities. This session explores how adult educators can use microlearning strategies and short-form content—TikTok-style explainers, 3–7 minute skill videos, bite-size tasks, and AI-generated mini-lessons—to strengthen instruction across ESL, CTE, ABE/HSE, and Continuing Education. Participants will learn to design pedagogically sound microlearning, sequence small tasks for mastery, use mobile-first tools, and align micro-assessments with CASAS/WIOA requirements. The presenter will demonstrate how to quickly create effective content with AI, smartphones, and free or low-cost platforms. Attendees will receive templates, examples, and ready-to-use workflows they can implement immediately.
