Write with AI oh mAI!

Session 1: 10:30am-12:00pm (Friday March 06, 2026)

 

Description

In this session participants are encouraged to be actively engaged by having an AI account, laptop/chromebook and bring in student writing samples from your class to use in the hands on AI activities. We will learn how to do some prompting specific to writing and how this can facilitate the student's writing experience. Presenter will give an overview of the writing process done in class prior to using AI as a tool to improve their writing.

OTAN / Soledad Adult School

Francisco X. Pinedo Jr, a leader in Adult Education since 2004 works at Soledad Adult School as an administrator during the day. Francisco also teaches in the evening ESL at his agency, and fosters digital literacy in his classroom. Francisco is also an OTAN SME since 2012, with vast experience in technology integration in the classroom.
