2025-26 Continuous Improvement Plan, CIP: A Beginner's Guide to Success
Session 3: 2:15pm-3:45pm (Friday March 07, 2025)
Description
This workshop is for any member of an agency CIP team charged with creating SMART/IE goals. Participants will learn the basics of writing SMART/IE goals and will craft at least one SMART goal during the workshop. Participants will work together in small table groups and the workshop will be interactive. While agency CIP plans aren't due until April 30, 2025, participants will be encouraged to begin work on their 2025-26 CIP's. New to CIP and SMART goals? This workshop is your starting point! Join OTAN SME’s Penny Pearson and Jaemi Naish for an informative session to learn the basics of the Continuous Improvement Plan and crafting effective SMART/IE goals. We'll break down the process step-by-step, provide practical tips and real-world examples to help you create strong CIP goals for your WIOA-funded school. By the end of this workshop, you'll have a solid foundation to develop your CIP by the April 30, 2025 deadline.
