Passing the Baton: A Relay Race for Reentry Success

Session 4: 4:00pm-5:00pm (Friday March 07, 2025)

Description

There are many challenges a returning citizen faces when re-entering their communities. In this presentation participants will engage with current CDCR educators from academic and career technical programs. You will learn how education works and what technology is available to students. Participants will also come away with a greater understanding of how to connect to reentry students, what skills students may come to them with, and what scaffolding supports students need to be successful. Additionally, a demonstration of the ARCAID program will help Adult Schools connect with potential reentry students.
