Advancing Digital Equity and Social Justice in Adult Education
Panel or Facilitated Discussion (90 minute)
Veronica Parker (w/ Mandilee Gonzalez)
Digital equity & social justice continues to be hot topics in education. But do we really know what these two concepts entail and how to unpack them in adult education? Do we understand how funding, or lack thereof, plays a major role in ensuring all students have access to technology? In this session, we will unpack digital equity, social justice, educator agency, and partnerships to understand their significance in creating inclusive educational spaces and close the digital equity gap.
