After living through the horror of trafficking, those fortunate to be accepted into the Annie Cannon (or STREAM program) where basic adult education is incorporated into the teaching, have to overcome extreme educational deficits. In both instances, adults who haven’t completed high school are being taught technical subjects. ABE and/or ASE with specialized instruction plus counseling, support services and follow-up are hall marks of both programs. Parallel support systems are highlighted.

One of the benefits of being a member of the DLAC process is the opportunity to share ideas in our coach collaboration time.
